ONE WEEK TO GO!
Only one more week in Connecticut.
Hard to imagine that we have been in Connecticut for eight weeks. A few trips into the City That Used To Know How to pick up a few items; see the dentist; take the dog to the vet, but for the most part The Nutmeg State has been home.
The last two weeks have been a joy, and more akin to a real escape from NYC. Restaurants opened for outdoor dining, and the weather cooperated.
A haircut is scheduled for this Monday, June 1st.
Also, new hikes were uncovered last week, which added to our day-to-day walks throughout all of Groton/Long Point. The only part of the town to which we have not ventured is the old section on the southern part of town adjoining the bank of the Thames River.
However, I will be there on Monday, as the combo barbershop and tattoo parlor sits right on Thames Road/Avenue/Street.
And no, won't be getting a tattoo that says, "Take Off That Stupid Mask"
